About Mike Gerou
I am a result oriented person with the ability to see the big picture. As a Judge I am required to make decisions daily that impact the lives of those involved. I try to implement a sound process in my decision making process and how I apply the law, i.e. give people an opportunity to be heard, treat people the way I would want to be treated and apply the law fairly. Justice is more a direction than a state of being which requires constant recalibration of our compasses to stay on track. It is important to let those involved know that this is their legal system too which you are welcome to participate in as opposed to courts being a place you go where bad things happen to you.
