ABOUT MIKE GERBIS
My goal in life is to have fun while changing the world for the better. I do this day in and day out by leading Profoundry – a collective of like-minded sustainability and climate experts that includes Delphi, GLOBE Series, CBSR, and Leading Change Canada. Together we\'re focused on achieving our vision: a more sustainable, prosperous, socially just future in a generation. We have worked with hundreds of organizations, communities, and leading decision-makers over the past three decades, including 50+ of Canada’s top 100 firms. These efforts have significantly lowered our environmental impact (GHGs, toxics, waste), but we have a long way to go yet to net zero emissions. I also devote significant personal time advancing sustainability. I am a co-founder and past Chair of The Climate Reality Project Canada and Clean Air Champions, which have engaged millions of Canadians to take action and reduce GHG emissions. I founded Leading Change Canada bringing together over 2,500 young leaders from across Canada to educate, engage, and empower them to catalyze sustainability initiatives in their communities. I also regularly make presentations to CEOs (through TEC Canada), executives and students/young professionals across Canada on issue of sustainability and climate change.
