ABOUT MIKE GALLANT
Mike works as a Civil Engineer specializing in water resources, river engineering, and stormwater management. He has several years of experience working on projects related to river bank rehabilitation, stormwater management including Low Impact Development design, stream and wetland design and restoration, fish habitat design, biotechnical / soil bioengineering, and erosion and sediment control design for forestry, oil and gas, mining and government clients. Mike holds Master and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, where he received several awards including an NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarship for his graduate work on integrating river engineering and aquatic ecology and a Young Alumni of the Year award for his volunteer work with Engineers Without Borders. Mike also holds a Certificate in Watershed Management from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, Canadian Water Resources Association, and the Society for Ecological Restoration.
