About Mike Ermert
I joined Hare, Wynn in 1990 and became a partner in 1996. In November 2020, I became Of Counsel with the firm. I have been lead counsel in litigation ranging from complex commercial disputes to the representation of individuals and families in single event cases. I am a Past President of the Alabama Association for Justice, the Birmingham Bar Foundation, and the Alabama Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and am currently serving in my second term as an elected member of the Alabama State Bar Board of Bar Commissioners. I also serve on the Board of Governors of the University of Alabama School of Law Foundation. I am an elected member of the Jefferson County Judicial Commission, have previously served as a member of Alabama Ethics Law Clarification and Reform Commission and as Chair of the Alabama State Bar Task Force, which addressed the use and access to personal indentifying information on the AlaCourt system. I am also a former President of the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation and the Red Elephant Club of Birmingham. I am a past Chair of the Farrah Law Alumni Society, the University of Alabama School of Law\'s alumni association, and Past Chair of the Downtown Birmingham YMCA Board of Management.
