I am project owner for a portfolio of utility operations projects for NYPA’s power plants in Northern NY. I manage a team of Project Engineers with a portfolio of projects and programs to extend the life of our assets. The complex programs and variety of projects that are in the portfolio include but are not limited to gantry crane replacements, water tower replacement, new buildings, utility scale batteries, gate hoist automation, tug vessels, electrical upgrades, dam refurbishment, building renovations, and unit and generator controls. The programs and projects that I have been managing total over 40 projects and are critical to the life extension and modernization of our power generation and dam safety assets in the region. I develop KPIs for my team to work towards and deliver projects successfully. I work with my team to identify and manage project risks. The portfolio I manage is over $300M.
