ABOUT MIKE DAGOSTINI
I’ve always believed that careers are built at the intersection of curiosity, courage, and culture. For me, that journey began at Labatt, where I started fresh out of school in 2010 as a CMA Accountant. What began as “just a job” quickly grew into a 15-year adventure — spanning 11 different roles, countless campaigns, and experiences that shaped both my career and who I am as a person. From accountant to marketer, I was fortunate to work with some of the best people in the industry, learning the value of dreaming big, pushing for greatness, and never shying away from the next challenge.During my time at Labatt, I had the privilege of leading and collaborating on industry-shaping campaigns such as Alberta Made, Raise One for Montreal, Tap Out Hate, Chief Hockey Officer, Bud Bubble, Bud Stage at Home, PWHPA – Game is for Us All, and many more. Each was a reminder that creativity, when paired with purpose, can leave a lasting mark.In 2025, I made the leap into the Graphene and Advanced Materials industry with Universal Matter, where I serve as VP of Marketing & Business Development – Concrete Canada. My role is focused on commercializing graphene-based solutions that are already reshaping bulk-material industries such as concrete, asphalt, rubber, coatings, and composites — with an initial emphasis on helping concrete partners build stronger, more durable, and lower-carbon solutions for the future.Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a few simple truths- Culture is only as strong as the people who live it- Innovation thrives when you embrace the “next thing we can’t do.” - The most rewarding part of leadership is watching others unlock their potential.Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue bridging the worlds of strategy, creativity, and sustainability — helping industries reimagine what’s possible with breakthrough technologies.
