ABOUT MIKE CRAIGIE
Head of Division for maths at Halesowen College. Managing a team of maths specialists delivering GCSE and Functional skills.Former English lead Coordinator for NCG group (seven colleges nationally). My responsibilities were varied but primarily I led on development of assessment, monitoring of progress and standardisation for thousands of learners. For Kidderminster College, part of NCG group, I was the Curriculum Manager for all cross-college English and maths activities. These include: GCSE, Apprenticeships Functional Skills, Adult Education, ESOL and Basic Skills. I have a proven track record of success, making decisions to benefit learners and enable them to make progress. I have managed year on year growth of cohort and increased high grades for GCSE. I have spoken about maths and English development and growth at conferences and training events.
