ABOUT MIKE COLLIS

Experienced non-executive and private equity portfolio executive specialising in small and medium sized private equity backed enterprises.Currently hold portfolio of non-executive director and management consultancy roles in a diverse range of businesses including EE Smith Contracts Limited, UAP Group Limited, Rockar Tech, Martel Instruments Group Limited, Claven Group Limited, Georges Tradition Group Limited and Delio Limited. A strong interest in strategy, business performance improvement, senior management mentoring/support and financial management in private equity backed businesses. I am a Chartered Accountant with 30 years post qualification experience including audit practice, senior industry financial director roles, private equity portfolio management and latterly a self-employed provider of management services. My principal private equity clients included Maven Capital Partners and Fullbrook Thorpe Investments LLP.I have given part of my free time in the development of the Institute for Turnaround having served as Chairman of the Midlands Region for two years contributing to the program of promoting higher professional standards and the institute’s continuous professional development program.I have designed and delivered training and development courses to private equity teams in areas such as management development, restructuring and financial performance monitoring.
