Texas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. is the statewide association that represents electric cooperatives in Texas. TEC advocates for its members’ interests before the Texas Legislature, United States Congress, and various regulatory agencies. In addition to the Georgetown campus, TEC works collaboratively with 26 co-ops across Texas to manage warehouses and assist with the supply chain for essential industry-related equipment such as electric meters, utility poles, transformers and wire. TEC has annual revenues approaching $300 million and employs over 250 dedicated men and women across Texas.
