As a Rapid Response Representative; I cover but not limited to Maine Counties of Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford. I facilitate Rapid Response sessions to soon to be or already displaced workers along with working with employers having to experience a restructure or downsize by providing resources to them for making a smoother transition or avoid lay-offs with workshare and or lay-off aversion. I also provide guidance with filing of Federal TAA program petition applications where applicable and also participate on the Business services teams at the Lewiston, Augusta and Hinkley CareerCenters.
