About Mike Brunt

I have basically followed two career paths and the change occurred when I moved to the USAFor the first 21 years of my working life I was a business manager in the transportation-heavy-equipment sector in Europe. I have extensive experience and knowledge in the field of heavy-duty engines, generator sets, construction equipment, trucks, buses and related parts. I also ran a small export company dedicated to that sector for 2-3 years.From 1995 on I segued to software applications and in particular the world wide web. This was as a result of a need pointed out by the Cummins Engine Company. Directly prior to this I was fairly well engaged in Network and Database projects and that experience helped me greatly with web site architectures and I still use that knowledge to this day in my day to day work. Since 1996 I have worked the ColdFusion and then Java worlds, most of that time being in the server side.Specialties: Java server engineer, ColdFusion, networking, database design, server troubleshooting, teleradiology, web infrastructures and musician.
