ABOUT MIKE BROWN

I am an electrical engineer with over 13 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector; with previous roles in reliability engineering, electrical engineering design, and project management. I am currently supporting Operational Risk Management, which includes the identification, control, and management of major risks related to personal safety, process safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, and significant operational disruptions.I have a proven track record of working on multidisciplinary teams to tackle a variety of brownfield plant projects that deliver a safe, reliable and operable product. I am passionate about safety in the workplace, with a specific focus on electrical safety in design and work execution.I have direct experience in supporting Process Safety Management through participation in Process Hazard Analysis, Layer of Protection Analysis, and the design, implementation and sustainment of Safety Instrumented Functions.
