Thirty years of electric utility industry origination experience related to both thermal and renewable generation with a long history of success originating transactions to support trading platform activities, financing new build thermal projects, and acquisition of thermal and renewable projects on behalf of private equity owners. Specific experience in the areas of power contract origination, energy supply procurement, power contracting, fuel procurement, financial risk management, resource planning, and operations experience in the unregulated and regulated sectors of the electric energy industry with extensive experience executing transactions in the CAISO, ERCOT, MISO, PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, and SERC regions. Extensive experience originating and executing transactions to support owner objectives, including long-term complex power purchase agreements, tolling agreements, heat rate call options, renewable energy hedges, and natural gas fuel supply agreements, in the private equity environment. Presently serving as Vice President Origination for EDF Trading North America, LLC with primary focus on SERC market and continued involvement with key accounts in ERCOT, ISO-NE, NY ISO, and PJM.
