I am a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD (FCIPD) with over 28 years’ experience operating at Senior Leadership / Deputy Director level across central government and complex public sector organisations.I have held senior leadership roles within the NHS, Cabinet Office, HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), where I have been accountable for strategic HR delivery, organisational development, and large-scale transformation in high-profile and politically sensitive environments. I work closely with Directors and Chief People Officers, providing authoritative advice and leadership on workforce strategy, organisational performance, and people-related risk.My experience includes leading HR business partnering at scale, overseeing complex and high-risk employment law and employee relations casework, and ensuring robust governance and assurance across people operations. I am experienced in handling sensitive issues requiring sound legal judgement, strong stakeholder management, and proportionate, defensible decision-making.I have led and developed large, multi-disciplinary teams and have played a senior role in the design and delivery of major organisational change and cross-government reform programmes.
