Spatial Policy Manager @Durham County Council

Responsible for the management of the Spatial Policy function of Durham County Council (including Economic Development, Housing, Planning and Transport policies) and the production of all statutory housing, planning and transport plans (including the Local Development Framework, Local Transport Plan and Housing Strategy as well as supporting documentation such as the Economic Assessment). Will input into regional and national regeneration issues, the maintenance and monitoring of relevant regeneration research and evidence bases in addition to assisting with the delivery of projects. A role in the servicing and development of the North Eastern Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and providing professional advice and guidance to the Council and its members on all Spatial Policy issues.
