ABOUT MIKAYLA ARNSTEIN

As a HR Assistant at Phoebe Philo, I support the Human Resources team in various areas, such as employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and learning and development. I also assist in legal tasks, such as, contracts, policies, and compliance. I graduated with a First Class degree in Law from Queen Mary University of London in July 2023, where I received the Commercial Law Prize for my academic excellence. I wrote the SQE 1 in July 2024 and the SQE 2 in January 2025. I have a strong interest in people operations, employment law, commercial law, intellectual property, and fashion. I aspire to combine my HR and legal knowledge and skills with my passion for the creative industry. I have gained valuable experience in these fields through my previous roles as a HR Assistant at TOM FORD FASHION and a Student Advisor at the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre, where I provided pro bono legal advice to clients on various matters, such as trademarks, copyright, and contracts. I am a motivated, adaptable, and collaborative professional, who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. I have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, which I have developed through my education, work, and extracurricular activities. I am always eager to learn new things, take on new challenges, and contribute to the success of the organization.
