As the Manager of Communications for statewide tutoring program Indiana Learns, I lead the strategic planning and execution of all program communications to ensure that eligible families, schools, and partners across Indiana are informed, engaged, and empowered. I manage the full communications ecosystem—including email, SMS, website content, and social media—with a strong focus on clarity, consistency, and impact.Key responsibilities include:• Crafting and distributing regular communications to families, school and district leaders, and Learning Partners, driving critical actions like tutoring session scheduling and invoicing• Managing the Indiana Learns website and ensuring all content is accurate, up to date, and user-friendly• Coordinating media inquiries and proactively identifying opportunities for positive media engagement• Tracking communication performance and outcomes to refine messaging and demonstrate program impact• Developing internal documentation to support smooth operations, especially during enrollment and program closeout phases• Collaborating cross-functionally with program staff and external stakeholders to align communications with overall goalsThrough thoughtful messaging and targeted outreach, I help ensure Indiana Learns delivers on its mission of expanding access to high-dosage tutoring for eligible students across the state.
