I am an HR professional with experience as an HR Coordinator and Recruiter. I hold a psychology degree from Grand Canyon University and have a strong background in communication, interviewing, and leadership. In my current role at American Parking and Services, I partner with hiring managers to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches, with the ability to manage customer/partner expectations. I build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management. Daily, I conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates and possesses strong screening and interviewing skills, consistently preparing a slate of candidates within an appropriate timeline. I partner with the HR team and hiring managers by recommending ideas and strategies related to recruitment that contribute to the long-range growth of the company.Prior to this role, I worked at Living Streams Church and managed the church calendar, facilities and coordinated meetings. I planned events such as weddings, funerals, and special events. I also managed the facilities team, as well as the operations budget for the year. I am skilled in coordinating schedules and facility availability, planning meetings, event planning, and budget managing, and is always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow in my field. In my free time, I enjoys hiking, yoga, and reading.
