About Mikah Kainen
As a Purdue University student pursuing dual Bachelor\'s degrees in Computer Science and Economics and the first Roblox Campus Ambassador at Purdue, I host events to enhance brand awareness and foster connections between students and Roblox. My past experiences include an impactful software engineering internship at Roblox, where I optimized the Game Engine with a custom C++ standard library across multiple platforms. Additionally, I contributed to curriculum development for AI and cryptography camps at Great Minds Robotics and led my World Robot Olympiad team to a national championship.At Purdue, I am part of the compiler group working on Gibbon, an experimental compiler for automatically transforming operations on recursive data structures to operate on serialized representations. I am also an active member of Purdue Hackers, the Competitive Programmers Union, and Purdue’s Programming Languages research group.My experience spans project management, community outreach, and technical programming, with a specialty in compilers and runtime systems.
