About Mikael Gislén

I’m Mikael Gislén, CEO and Managing Director of Gislen Software (India), and Director of our Swedish and UK subsidiaries. Since founding the company in 1994, I’ve focused on helping clients in the Nordics, the UK and the US deliver dependable software and integration solutions.We work with bespoke software development, systems integration, identity & access management, and payment solutions. We also help organisations modernise legacy systems into maintainable web and cloud platforms.A particular focus for us is making cross-cultural collaboration work in practice — bridging communication gaps, clarifying requirements, and bringing together multiple platforms, stakeholders and constraints into one coherent solution.Alongside delivery, we prioritise transparency, ethical business practice and sustainability (we’ve been carbon-neutral for years).I come from a programming background, and I’m interested in adopting new technology (including AI) in ways that are useful, safe and commercially sensible.
