Supporting research on the climate change in 5 Latin American and the Caribbean countries: Colombia, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, and Nicaragua with special focus on the role of political factors in determining a country\'s adaptive capacity• Using a multidisciplinary, sustainable development approach, co-developed a qualitative tool to analysis the wide literature on study countries\' adaptive capacity and resilience to environmental disasters • Utilizing and iterating the said tool within Atlas.ti to determine key intervention areas in supporting adaptive capacity• Mapping and defining the categorical codes that matter to disaster resilience and climate change, with special focus on the role gender, class, race, disability, and other forms of inequality.

View my CV through this link: https://tinyurl.com/mariabonaI have two master\'s degrees in public policy at the University of Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs and political science in Ateneo De Manila University. Previously, I worked for Oxfam Kenya and the Philippines on the Unpaid Care Work Scorecard campaigns as well as USAID- and ODNI-funded public policy research projects that place inequality at the center of their analysis. My research and professional interests are at the intersection of gender, social inequality, and development. Specifically, I am interested in monitoring and evaluation as well as research and advocacy around improving human development outcomes. I am well-versed with research, project management, political journalism, and grassroots organizing on issues ranging from climate change to higher education. I have substantial experience using R, Stata, ArcGIS, and Atlas.ti.
