ABOUT MIKAEL ABOG
Hello! I\'m Mikael (“Mi-ka-el”), an incoming first year Life Sciences student at the University of Toronto with a strong interest in science, research, healthcare, advocacy, and education. In the summer of 2024, I participated in the StAR (Student Advancement Research) program at the Hospital for Sick Children, where I developed a passion for the medical sciences, clinical research, and population health. Coupled with my diverse experiences as a community volunteer, student council leader, music educator, I hope to pursue a career in primary care medicine, leveraging my interests in human health, social sciences, community health, and advocacy to improve health outcomes for all.
