Mikael is also an audit partner where he has served as the lead audit partner on several of the Firm\'s leading alternative investments clients. In addition, he provides advisory and audit support for major not-for-profit (insitutional investor) clients. Finally, Mikael serves as the lead partner on several large advisory clients of KPMGs Alternative Investments practice, focusing on transformation, regulatory risk, and operations risk/controls.Mikael has worked with a variety of US and global investment management clients, including the alternative investment product groups of multinational financial institutions and diversified investment managers, large independent investment management firms, start-up managers, and asset servicing organizations (fund administrators, custodians/depositaries, and prime brokers). His business advisory experience includes regulatory advisory, start-up consulting, due diligence assistance, vendor selection, fund structuring, strategy consulting, transformation, and operations risk/controls advice.Mikael has notable experience with large fund platforms, in particular private bank wealth management platforms and hedge fund managed account providers, having worked with industry leaders in this segment for 14 years. In additional, Mikael has been integral to the creation and build out of KPMG\'s practice that focuses on fund administration and asset servicing, having led projects in this segment including operational risk and controls, middle and back office transformation, target operating model design, strategy, and tax outsourcing/co-sourcing.
