ABOUT MIKAEL ERIKSSON

As Vice President and Head of Ericsson Antenna System (EAS), I hold end-to-end accountability for Ericsson’s global passive antenna business, overseeing R&D, product management, two factories, sales, marketing, finance and HR. Ericsson Antenna System was established following the acquisition of Kathrein Antenna and filter business in 2019, and today, we proudly serve more than 400 customers across 145 countries. The antenna system plays a pivotal role in radio access networks, and we see antennas at the heart of network design, impacting network performance, customer experience and sustainability. At Ericsson, we are focused on sustainability and supply chain resilience across our entire antenna portfolio. We are committed to innovating and integrating new technologies for site modernization, enhancing network performance and reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for mobile operators. In my role, I relish the business challenges of leading EAS. With a 25-year career at Ericsson, I’ve embraced numerous challenges and opportunities that have fueled my competitive spirit. I’ve been fortunate to have lived and worked in diverse locations such as Hong Kong, China, Japan, my home country, Sweden, and currently in Germany, providing fascinating experiences immersed in different cultures. I’d love to connect with peers in the telco industry - so please reach out to connect.
