Creative Coordinator - Sustainable Designer @International Academy Of Film And Media Iafm

As the Creative Coordinator for IAFM (International Academy of Film and Media) in Europe, I serve as a cultural connector between Bangladesh (South Asia) and Germany (Central Europe), working across both regions to foster dialogue and build meaningful collaborations in art house and sustainable cinema.I drive conversations with stakeholders, industry experts, and institutions both in person and online to co-develop ideas, exchange context, and shape shared visions. I represent the European art house cinema scene to IAFM Bangladesh, while also advocating for Bangladeshi independent filmmaking within Europe.As part of IAFM’s evolution, I’m leading the rebranding of our digital presence including our website, visual identity, and digital platforms with a focus on sustainability and minimalism. Given the limitations, I’m also researching how to implement these changes in a resource-conscious and impactful way.Currently, we’re developing eco-film initiatives in Europe, particularly in Germany. I’m actively building bridges between both regions by collaborating with film schools, creative networks, and environmental organizations. Through seminars, meetings, and awareness-driven events, I help cultivate a more connected and conscious filmmaking ecosystem.Beyond execution, I’m also working on setting a long-term message for our collaborators and future creatives: our direction now centers on sustainable, minimal filmmaking that reflects both local and global narratives. By creatively addressing the contextual gap between South Asia and Europe, I aim to help shape the future of art house and green cinema.
