At Jaguar Land Rover, I led regulatory strategy and global engagement for Assisted and Automated Driving technologies (Levels 2–5), as well as support key areas like data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and software updates. My role ensured that JLR\'s cutting-edge vehicle technologies met evolving legal and compliance requirements across international markets.I represented JLR in regulatory forums including UNECE WP.29/GRVA, the European Commission, and national authorities such as the UK’s DfT and VCA. I collaborated closely with global industry bodies like OICA, ACEA, and SMMT to influence policy outcomes and ensure alignment between regulatory developments and industry innovation.Internally, I worked cross-functionally with engineering, legal, and product teams to embed compliance early in the development cycle. I also led regulatory horizon scanning across 40+ markets, created risk dashboards, and delivered internal training to build awareness and preparedness around future regulatory changes.
