Hi! My name is Mihiri Kotikawatta, and I am a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, with a B.A. in Political Science: International Relations and Global Health. I bring experience across education advocacy, workforce development, and health and gender equity. Through my roles at Partners In Health and Management Sciences for Health, I have supported global partnerships and grant-funded initiatives focused on strengthening health systems and expanding access to care. Growing up in a predominantly working-class immigrant community just north of the U.S.–Mexico border, I’ve been deeply committed to ensuring that education and health access are treated as fundamental rights. I’m passionate about work at the intersection of communications, project management, program coordination, and policy—focused on advancing health, education, and gender equity on both local and global levels.
