About Mihir Redekar

I completed my B.Tech in Production Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune, with internships at Varroc Polymers and Magna Cosma, focusing on operations and procurement. I also engaged in various clubs related to fest organization, automobile design, and entrepreneurship. At Tata Motors, as a Senior Manager, I managed projects in services, manufacturing, and operations across Patna, Lucknow, and Jamshedpur, earning the highest performance rating and organizing a chess competition for 900+ schoolchildren under the \"Wheels\" CSR initiative. In December 2020, I left my role to prepare for the Civil Services exam. In the brief period between my UPSC preparation and leaving Tata Motors, I worked as a Marketing associate at Hubple, an IT services startup. Over here, I got first hand experience at driving sales conversions, digital marketing, and also a comprehensive understanding of IT and digital services startup at the ground level. Later, I attempted the UPSC exam twice in the years 2022 and 2023. Although I did not qualify, I gained critical skills such as resilience and self-motivation. During this time, I volunteered with Vikasmitra, an NGO addressing the learning gap caused by COVID-19. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in various professional fields. I now plan to pursue an M.M.S. at the esteemed Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS)
