About Mihika Kulkarni
As both a student and performer, it is critical to adapt to any opportunities thrown your way. However, the \"basics\" build a stong foundation for the rest your academic and professional career. Stage presence (confidence), breath support and control (preparedness), and audience connection (presentation) are just a few of my strongest skills. My education in international business, classical music and opera performance, and finance have given me a unique view of the world, especially when looking at the ties between global cultures and business practices.As a student of entrepreneurship and innovation, I am fascinated with how culture, language, and tradition affect the actions people take as consumers and stakeholders in the global economy. Through my coursework and applied ventures, I have developed skills in presenting data, collaborating with teams, and adapting quickly to various ad-hoc situations. I love any challenges presented in a team setting, as I can help facilitate an open, honest discussion of ideas, perspectives, and ultimately develop short and long-term strategy, open to adaptation for future challenges. I learned a lot during my time at the University of Maryland, and still have much more to learn as I finish up my undergraduate degrees and work on my graduate studies.
