ABOUT MIHIER CHOPRA

Data Science is my passion and my career goal. I am currently pursuing a master\'s degree in Data Science and Analytics at the University of Calgary, where I am learning advanced techniques and tools to extract, transform, and analyze data, and to communicate the results and insights effectively. I have also been working as a Software Developer at Winjit Inc since January 2022, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions for various clients across different domains and industries. I have gained valuable experience in working with large datasets, using Python, SQL, Power BI, and other technologies to perform data cleaning, wrangling, visualization, and reporting. My previous role as an Associate Data Engineer at Indus Valley Partners exposed me to the fintech industry and the fundamental concepts of data analysis. I developed my problem-solving abilities, client-management skills, and time-management expertise in this role. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new challenges. I have completed multiple certifications in cloud computing, front-end development, and data science, and I am proficient in various programming languages, frameworks, and platforms. Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, I enjoy playing table tennis, swimming, volunteering in the community, and embarking on adventures in Alberta\'s great outdoors. I am also happy to connect with people who share my interest in data science or are seeking guidance for a career transition into this field.
