ABOUT MIHAIL DIMITROV
My main interest is in studying and modelling functional network connectivity in the human brain by combining \'classic\' and computational neuroscience approaches, incl. pharmacological probing, multimodal neuroimaging and relevant techniques from other disciplines such as maths, statistics, physics and computer science.Additionally, I am curious about how this knowledge can be translated into real-world practices and technologies that could be introduced in the clinical domain as well as in people\'s everyday life.I am also fascinated by the potential of applying mechanistic principles from organic brains to artificial systems and thus, enhance efficiency, reduce bias and broaden the range of their faculties. It is intriguing to see how this could feed back into the numerous aspects of the modern world that AI has the potential to help maintain and improve.
