As a Project Manager, I oversee the organization, tracking, planning and implementation of day-to-day projects of Dish Network, Sky UK along with other accounts. During my time here, I have also served as a Atlassian Administrator, leveraging Jira and Confluence technology solutions.Highlights of my contributions include: Oversee a 6-year project for Dish Network focusing on the creation of a satellite gateway product, feature requests, bug fixes and partnering with a team of 15 engineers; project creates $500MM in revenue.Developed familiarity with lengthy, complex timelines, partnering closely with clients to meet demands for feature requests, bug fixes, engineering teams, and project presentations.Lead weekly meetings with 20+ team members across projects to document progress, keep different departments informed, ensure there were no roadblocks for target release dates or other issues. Track the progress of new features, bug fixes, and regression testing for software releases on a weekly basis, sharing results with Dish Network representatives, engineering teams and preparing monthly, individualized updates to customers and C-Suite leadership. Managed up to 10 off-shore resources at any given time including contractors and manufacturers. Leveraged feedback from VP’s to establish new and more effective engineering processes, reducing the cognitive load for developers; new processes included weekly group task checks and bug reviews. Restructured key business processes including adjustment of meeting formats to better foster accountability change to an agile-based software approach and improvement of major bug escalations for engineers.Trained more than 20 employees including Sr. Software Engineers, Director of Product Engineering, Product Managers, Sr. System Engineers, and the VP of Engineering.
