As Vice President of Software Development, I perform business management activities in the area of Program Management, developing and executing integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guiding the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives. Responsibilities: • Overseeing the various departments including Research & Development, Software Maintenance, Integration Services and Mobility. • Strategic planning and execution of all aspects of product development including establishing product roadmap alignment between Product Management and Development organizations, building engineering teams. • Establish and direct strategic long-term goals for the development department. • Maintain a big picture approach to how you manage your team and facilitate information and communication both inter-departmentally and between differing levels of management. • Understand and address the challenges of developing a next generation product while actively developing and supporting the current generation technology. • Constantly monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and digital trends.
