About Miguel Martinez Galvez
I am studying the collaboration of business and technology, and always looking to further my knowledge in the industry. I am seeking an internship where I can apply my current skills and grow my management and leadership experience. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems at C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. I have worked as a Computer builder for the last 4 years. Conducting system analysis, adding required booting software such as Windows and antivirus such as McAfee, Norton, and F-secure. I am intermediate in Python. Assessing system hardware and software and suggested modifications to reduce lag time and improve overall speed. Also, testing and installing motherboards, processors, and graphics cards on desktops. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint; Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom. I am planning on obtaining a certification from AWS this upcoming summer and bolstering my programming skills. I plan on learning and completing my certification in Java and Javascript too. Outside my passion for technology, I feel happiest doing photography, working out, cooking, and reading. I enjoy other activities such as hiking, swimming, and stock/option trading when the market is stable. I am excited to start an internship or job where I can embrace my passion for technology but also continue to learn.
