ABOUT MIGUEL BELTRAN
I build software that scales. From APIs serving thousands of requests to frontends used by people. As a CS student at UC Davis, I\'ve shipped production code across the full stack: architecting real-time event systems in React/TypeScript, designing normalized PostgreSQL schemas, automating workflows that saved teams hours every week, and building gamification engines with live state sync. I don\'t just complete features. I think about performance, maintainability, and the user on the other end.My toolkit spans TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Python, Java, C/C++, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Spring Boot, Flask, Node.js, and Docker. I\'m comfortable owning a feature end-to-end: system design, implementation, code review, and deployment via CI/CD.What drives me is impact. Whether that\'s a Slack bot that cuts manual coordination for a 100-person org or a REST API that makes match data searchable across thousands of records, I care about writing software that actually moves the needle.Currently seeking Summer 2026 SWE internships. Open to full-stack, frontend, backend, and systems roles, especially at companies building products people genuinely love.Let\'s connect.GitHub: github.com/migueljbeltran
