About Michael Marshall
Hi, I’m Mike Marshall — CTO by day, birding guide by passion.I specialize in using technology, systems thinking, and storytelling to solve problems and connect people — whether that’s through scalable software or an unforgettable community experience.After earning my degree in Computer Science from BYU, I joined Namify (now Axomo) straight out of college in 2007. What started as a Director of IT role became a long-term journey of leadership, mentorship, and growth. Under the guidance of Bryan Welton and Chris Jensen, I advanced to VP of Technology and now serve as Chief Technology Officer.At Axomo, we help companies tackle branding and engagement challenges — from producing on-brand gear to launching fully customized internal storefronts. Our platform gives organizations the tools to unify their people through choice and meaningful connection.In parallel, I’m also the founder of FeatherQuest, a gamified birding adventure that blends nature, storytelling, and family-friendly exploration. What began as a personal creative project has grown into a community movement, helping people slow down, notice more, and rediscover joy in the everyday.I live in Mapleton, Utah with my wife and four kids. We love exploring new places, playing games, and going on adventures — especially if there are birds involved.

I began with Namify in late 2007 as the Director of IT for Namifiers, LLC, in Dec of 2011 we re-branded to Namify and I was promoted to the VP of Technology. A few years later as the brand store platform evolved into Axomo I was once again promoted and blessed with the opportunity to lead as our CTO to further focus on company vision and strategy. It has been a great ride and I look forward to leading the team our as we revolutionize the promotional industry by introducing our clients to Axomo platform allowing them and their employees to be even more engaged in their brand while reducing waste.
