About Midhun Varghese

As part of Zoox, I led the validation efforts on critical Electronic Control Units (ECU) managing the Electrical, EMI/EMC, and Mechanical/Reliability/Environmental test domains. I led the validation and testing of the electrical design and margins for various Electronic Control Units (ECUs) that enable autonomous driving. I defined test plans, design and ran board-level signal and power integrity tests and monitored and collaborated with different teams and contract manufacturers to ensure the quality and reliability of the ECUs. I also designed and developed test stations for performing end-of-line testing, regression testing, and EE validation.I have a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering (Robotics) from the University of Maryland, College Park, where I researched developing standards and test methods for continuum robots in industrial settings. I also have a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Kochi, India, where I designed and patented a prosthetic arm with high flexibility and finger separation. I am currently pursuing a specialization in Leadership and Management from Harvard Business School to enhance my skills and knowledge in product and program management. I am passionate about robotics, systems engineering, and innovation, and I aspire to create impactful solutions that improve the lives of people and communities.
