When I joined Impact Hub Hyderabad as the first African team member, I was elated not just by the doors this global brand could open for me, but by the doors I could help open for others.Early in my role, I facilitated the onboarding of two African interns, giving them the opportunity to work in communications, design, and social media management for two months. This created a pipeline for African talent to engage with India’s innovation ecosystem.I collaborated with a 7-member team on the Social Impact Awards India 2025, where I managed the WhatsApp community and grew membership by 150%, ensuring more young changemakers had access to resources and opportunities.Currently, I’m building bridges between India and Africa by forging partnerships between Impact Hub Hyderabad and several African hubs while managing Indo-African translocal programs designed to help startups and businesses scale across borders.
