I work on a flood intercomparison project that seeks to evaluate open source surface water extent products and packages (e.g. Copernicus Global Flood Monitor, OPERA Dynamic Surface Water Extent). SERVIR is conducting this project in order to assess the contexts in which different products may outperform others. SERVIR is a joint program of NASA and the US Agency for International Development, working with organizations around the world to address environmental challenges through the use of geospatial data.
