ABOUT MICK THOMPSON MSYI

A highly motivated and engaged individual I hold outstanding organisational, leadership and management skills with an excellent record of working well in high pressure and demanding environments. I am a strong communicator with an ability to build resilient interpersonal relationships in a diversity of settings. I am an assured decision maker and problem solver, able to motivate and engage significantly with a recognised ability to lead effectively. I demonstrate a commitment to delivering the highest level of integrity, professionalism and personal responsibility, continually proving myself to be a conscientious and tenacious individual. I have worked closely with Royalty and Government Protection teams, understanding and managing the requirements within this elite arena. Additionally I am a specialist driver and fully trained close protection operative. I have public order experience having served on a level 1 public order unit and a level 2 unit as a supervisor having completed my PSU commanders’ course and worked under the national command and control structure incorporating the conflict management model.
