ABOUT DIRK GOOS
I am an experienced Supply Chain specialist with a proven track record in Logistics, Planning, MRP, ERP, Stock Control and Warehouse management. After completing my MA I rolled into a production operative role from which I progressed into a Team leader post. This first-hand experience of process plants and production lines and their materials, efficiencies and bottlenecks served me well when I moved into the Logistics Manger role. This was a newly created role where I led a new team responsible for all in and outbound materials, workflows, waste and stock management within a complex plant with 10 process areas and 13 production lines. I managed a large team and controlled 1300 materials from over 200 suppliers. Safety, quality and efficiency being at the forefront of everything we do.Over time the role expanded to encompass planning and forecasting, ERP control, scheduling and MRP. The accumulation of responsibilities and skills are an indication of my dynamic, result driven personality, which combined with a calm character and a high stress threshold, allows me to perform to a high standard.
