   Delta Consultants is a business psychology firm that helps companies (1) evaluate and select the right candidates for high impact jobs,(2) develop key person bench strength to max effectiveness and for promotion and succession opportunities, and (3) build successful department and cross-functional teams. As Delta’s managing partner, I am a doctoral level psychologist with 30 plus years of business consulting experience. We have successfully served a wide variety of public, family and PE enterprises. We value the relationships we have built, supported by the fact that our average client engagement lasts 10 years. Our clients represent diverse industries that include (but not limited to) manufacturing, wholesale and retail sales, financial services, healthcare, IT consulting, pharmaceuticals, and construction. Some examples of how we have helped our clients: A construction design/build company hires project managers right out of engineering school and expects them to run multi-million dollar programs within 2 years. We created an assessment program to predict whether these candidates are able to fill that role. A division general manager was having difficulty growing an already profitable business due to her senior team’s complacency. In-depth assessment helped her gain insight into her own propensity to sustain complacency. Then, a results focused development plan enabled her to renew an opportunistic culture and achieve more aggressive sales goals. A commercial furniture manufacturer endeavored to identify salespeople who were more likely to be end-user hunters and developers, than just content to leverage sales through design firm specifiers.
