ABOUT MICK WEAVER

A strong leader with a motivation to meet and exceed all targets as a business operator. Some of these achievements include, integrating the staff of a newly acquired radio station in Sudbury, motivating and guiding that sales team through two consecutive years of 20% plus growth in revenue, managing the restructure of the sales department in a second market (Timmins) as a special project, and implementation of a Local Sales Agreement. Major market experience as GSM of one of Canada\'s leading Classic Rock stations CHEZ 106 in Ottawa achieving top billing status in the market. Building a new broadcast license from the ground up in Sudbury has been a great experience and one that few Media Managers have the opportunity to enjoy. An energetic, enthusiastic community builder with ambition to grow and develop while remaining in Northern Ontario joining the Stingray team as they acquired operations in Sudbury has been an amazing next step. Working with the strong team to drive this operation to #1 in revenue and two of the top three stations in ratings has been an exciting journey. A passion for the outdoors and conservation and community building has lead to fulfilling community engagement as Past President of the Rotary Club of Sudbury Sunrisers, member of the Elgin Street Mission Advisory Board and the development of Hot 93.5\'s Pay for Play and Fill the Bus campaigns.
