Accountable for the safe, compliant and commercially effective delivery of transport operations across Scotland.Key responsibilities and impact- CPC Licence Holder with full accountability for operator licence management, fleet compliance, driver oversight and regulatory assurance- Lead end-to-end transport operations, balancing service excellence, safety and cost efficiency while consistently meeting client SLAs and KPIs- Own operational performance and continuous improvement, using data and Power BI insight to drive efficiency, reliability and informed decision-making- Manage transport P&L performance, supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost control while identifying opportunities for margin improvement- Act as a senior operational interface with clients, providing performance insight, resolving issues and proactively improving service delivery- Develop and lead transport administration, compliance and data capability, embedding a strong HSEQ culture and clear performance expectations- Ensure robust audit readiness, accurate reporting, and proactive risk management across fleet, drivers, systems and processes.This role builds on my background in operations leadership and performance improvement within complex logistics and energy-sector environments, with a strong focus on compliance, commercial control and operational excellence.
