ABOUT JONATHAN ANDREW PAUL

I’m a criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor who helps good people through some of the hardest moments of their lives. My clients are not criminals, they are visitors to the justice system, not residents. They are good, hardworking people who found themselves on the wrong side of a decision, often made when they were not at their best mentally, emotionally, socially, or physically. A big part of my role is helping them understand why that decision happened in the first place. Together, we look at the full picture what led to that moment and build a clear, proactive path forward. That work happens both inside the courtroom and outside of it, helping clients take real steps that show accountability, growth, and who they truly are at their best.Through my work as an attorney and my background in criminology, I’ve developed a deeper focus on decision-making under pressure and how it impacts outcomes in all areas of life. With an Executive MBA from Michigan Ross and ongoing doctoral work in strategy, I combine behavioral science, real-world legal experience, and a whole-person approach that considers mental, emotional, social, and physical well-being. I use this not only to help my clients, but also to work with professionals, organizations, government groups, athletes, and youth helping them better understand behavior, make stronger decisions under the pressures of life, and create a path forward aligned with their best self. At the core, my work is about learning from one moment and using it as a catalyst for growth.
