ABOUT MICHELLE TOYAMA

Hi friends! I\'m a family nurse practitioner working in a clinic that provides primary care services to the under-served communities of los angeles. A little bit about myself: I\'m a social person, I love making connections and thrive in team environments. My family is my rock and I always think of how I\'d like them to receive the best care as the standard for myself for when I treat my own patients. Lastly, if I’m not working at the clinic you’ll most likely find me reading, doing yoga or hiking in nature somewhere. I have many years of experience working in health care ranging from in-patient and out-patient care settings. I understand the huge health disparities that exist within our country. I also believe that knowledge is power and when it comes to something as precious as our health, that knowledge should be equally shared. I hope to fill that gap and to be that light to someone who could benefit from what quality primary care services has to offer, as it truly fills me with so much purpose and joy to help those who need it the most.
