About Michelle Seelbinder
As a Vice President of People with over 20 years of experience in various HR functions, I lead the people function at Openwork, a staffing agency that connects great employees to great companies, one person at a time. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, I oversee the HR department, retention, performance management, compensation, benefits, risk & safety, mergers & acquisitions, and employee engagement to align the people strategy with the business goals and vision. I have a great deal of experience in M&A (mergers and acquisitions), overseeing the HR merger of 10 companies since 2020. I have a passion for creating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth, and empowering people to reach their full potential. I leverage my credentials as a SHRM-CP and a Certified Staffing Professional to ensure compliance with the best practices and regulations in the HR industry. I have strong skills in HRIS systems, conflict resolution, and HR management, and I enjoy learning new things and taking on new challenges.
