Ruling the world is not as easy as it looks! Here\'s my WHY. I teach others how to GIS because I dream of creating a battered women\'s retraining academy. In this academy, I want the ladies and their children to learn to exist proactively so they no longer feel like victims. The Lord put this in my heart 20 years ago, and I know it will happen because God\'s put extraordinary ladies on divine paths that could only happen because of Him. Here is what God\'s timeline has looked like so far. 11/30/2022 - this academy will retrain ladies and their families to be active in society. Coursework will include mastering office skills, farming, car repair, construction, dog obedience, and martial arts. Can you see the power of my dream? Please join me along the way. At my mentor\'s prompting, I wrote the first draft of my vision for my life. 2005 I met a lady while I was on jury duty. She was in the midst of an abusive relationship and contemplating leaving and is now a valuable team member for this project. While working on this post, a team member told me that she also met another lady on Jury duty with a similar past and that an additional lady has been a lifelong friend of mine.(Wow, that gave me chills, in a good way) 2012 I was having breakfast with a friend from the Chamber of Commerce. I shared my vision for the academy with her, and she told me that she herself had been the victim in a past relationship. 2020 During Covid, while everyone was working from home, the battered women\'s academy team got together and started dialing in a business plan, praying that God would show us the way. 2022 One of my team members was contacted by a Christian organization that rescues women forced into sex trafficking; now, my team member can share OUR vision with them! She\'s also learning many things, such as these ladies\' mindsets and triggers. In November 2021, I subscribed to a mentorship program to learn how to build and market my GIS training course. I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that GIS will fund the dream God gave me 20 years ago! Thank you for letting me share my passions with you today.    4/1/2023 - wow, my car accident created mindset issues, and last month I chose Not To Be A Victim of my situation. I\'ve started training and mentoring again. I am back on track to RULE THE WORLD. 9/5/2022 - I had a car accident in May, which turned my life upside down. I have a new outlook on life, and I\'m looking at my next three years differently than I have before. If you\'ve seen a change in me, know that it is intentional. Status update for my first nine months: 2021 June - Inherited two broken Survey123 projects and remastered them for a utility company. 2021 August – Starting a weekly 30-minute training to level up my team\'s Survey123 skills • Which has grown into cross-training team member with other specialized skillsets 2022 - Started a 30-minute Survey123 workshop, which replaced the 30-minute training. I now mentor seven team members with new survey123 projects, and teams from other departments are jumping in to watch the training videos.
