It\'s 2026, and I have officially be a communications professional for 18 years. Nearly two decades! Through all my experiences at agencies and in-house, the thing I\'ve come to love most about communications is the ability to connect people. Whether that\'s bringing internal teams together to foster better collaboration, share their success across the organization and grow, or building awareness and engagement around a company or brand. During my time at King Technology, I was tasked with creating and launching a new multi-channel content marketing and communications plan, complete with new processes, aimed at fostering more efficient and effective cross-team collaboration. I also worked closely with the sales, product development, customer service, and existing marketing teams to create a concise and clear system for recording and providing approved messaging for the company\'s entire product line. As part of the overall content marketing and communications plan, I was in charge of managing paid and earned media, and for providing copy for all written materials. I also provided strategic council to executive leadership regarding all external and internal communications needs. With the support and collaboration of individuals and teams across the organizations, I managed and distributed the internal team newsletter.
