I support institutional customers with values-based, local purchases, on behalf of our farmer-owned and cooperatively run food hub in the verdant Skagit Valley in western Washington. My work with public K-12 schools, hospital systems, corporate dining, and public and private universities has provided better food for students, patients, and staff throughout the state and higher returns to farmers, fishers, ranchers, and producers.

My most memorable and rewarding experiences have happened within the food space. 2024 is all about connecting institutions with locally grown and produced food with the fine folks of Kitchen Sync Strategies and the NW Food Hub Network. Much gratitude to both the USDA and WSDA for awarding grants for this much needed, important work. Formerly, Business Development Manager for MilkRun, cultivating relationships within the food, business, and greater community to support local farmers and producers by delivering the bounty of the farmers market to doorsteps.
